“When I moved to W. Hillsborough over 10 years ago, my neighbors had a beautiful bottle tree. I wanted to make one for my yard but didn’t find the right tree to start it.
Two years ago a beautiful tree in my yard died and my friend, Bob, suggested I turn it into a bottle tree. I cut the branches shorter and began collecting bottles. Once I had collected enough to begin, I placed them in the tree. I’m still looking for more; I think I need about 15 more to fill it up! My home is on Knight St.”
